Austin offers professional web development and design service packages at very reasonable prices. With the knowledge, experience, and ability to handle nearly any web project, Austin can make your project a creative and working reality. Personal sites, small businesses, online stores, medium scale Internet infrastructures; you name it, and a solution can be found that will meet or exceed your requirements and satisfaction!

The Solution

Web development packages come in two types, managed or client-editable. In addition, sites can be either HTML based (standard) or FLASH. Project Packages - Managed Websites

If you would rather not deal with anything and let me take care of all aspects of managing your site, Managed Packages are $70/month + plus a onetime setup-fee of $100, for a minimum of two years.  Contacr me for additional information

Project Packages - Client Owned & Editable

The packages below have unlimited room for expansion and customization. Extra features not listed below can be discussed and added. It is all up to you!

The below packages are client-edited and maintained.

Professional Web Package - Base $650 + Additional charges

  • Creation and setup of 8 pages. More may be added.
  • Inclusion of initial content or images supplied by client.
  • Setup of Domain Name, or use of existing address.
  • Setup of 3rd party host package or delivered to client server.
  • Custom main logo, and minor graphic designs to match design styles.
  • Free Content Management System allows for easy editing of your own site.
  • Optional custom email address for you and your employees or family.
Flash Web Package - Base $750 + Additional charges
  • Creation and setup Flash website with 5 pages. More may be added.
  • Creation and setup corresponding standard web pages.
  • Inclusion of initial content or images supplied by client.
  • Setup of Domain Name, or use of existing address.
  • Setup of 3rd party host package or delivered to client server.
  • Custom main logo, and minor graphic designs to match design styles.
  • Client-editable pages can be used at additional charge.
  • Optional custom email addresses for you, employees or family.

Additional Charges

Certain extra features, not listed above, may be requested. At such time, I will notify clients before hand if the request will incur additional charges, due to additional work or custom scripting that may be required.

A few examples of items that may require additional charges:

  • Optimization/conversion of images or content
  • Custom animations
  • Online eStores and Shops
  • Secures websites or credit card processing
  • Databases for multiple users, or other company uses
  • Server programs (for processing data, images, login, etc.)

In addition, Athman.net does not host client websites. If you do not already have host/domain, we will setup a third party host, that for most web projects, costs about $50 per year. This charge is paid directly by the client, separate from my invoices.

Timelines & Deposits

Once a project has been discussed and a proposal approved, a contractual $100 deposit will signify your commitment and agreement with us to create an outstanding product for you. Larger deposits may be required. This deposit also covers initial design costs for stock photography, or licensing fees, if requierd.

Due to the importance of education, you may find that the timelines for these services seem large. However, a balance for work and school is essential to my future (and sanity!), but also insures a thoroughly considered and quality product.

The timeline for web projects vary on client needs and design complexities, but expected to be 4 months. Projects contracted in the early summer may have a shorter timeline.

Programming

Web programming is often included in all web design projects. Programming allows for Database Access for eStores or Online Catalogues, client-editable pages, dynamic page content, online document archive management, user authentication, and many other advanced web functions. Programming is done in Javascript, SQL, PHP, and ASP.
